Research Analyst

Position Overview:

The Research Analyst position at Verde Group is a technically focused position that requires the individual to have strong analytical skills, will have experience in market research engagements, quantitative inclination, strong communication and problem solving ability. The individual in this position will be a logical thinker with a creative side and a deep understanding of how quantitative market research surveys are structured, designed, executed and analyzed.


  • Maintain Verde Group’s in-house research Customer Pulse data warehouse.  Ability to run specific queries to provide the business with benchmarks and insights (Microsoft Access)
  • Design, creation, technical spec-writing and management of the Verde Group customer facing feedback portal (training provided).  This includes developing the visual elements as well as technical spec-writing of the various data elements of the portal
  • Responsible for the management, prioritization, and execution of multiple ad-hoc projects in support of the Account Executive team
  • Assist the Project Director team in the efficient checking of reports and analytics to be delivered to clients
  • Stay current with analysis, reporting capabilities, industry trends and technologies associated with market research and customer experience management
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned

Skills & Experience

  • A University Degree or College Diploma in Social Sciences/Mathematics/Statistics, or equivalent diploma/degree in Marketing or Marketing Research
  • Minimum 5 years of Market Research experience
  • Ability to increase operational efficiency when delivering consistent and actionable reporting through online and offline formats
  • Strong analytical and program management skills
  • A solid background in quantitative research methodologies including marketing research techniques and applications
  • Keen understanding on how to improve the effectiveness of data analysis and report development techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically advanced knowledge of Excel (Power Pivot) and Access
  • Comfortable with data base structures and query formulation
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
